Compact and at the same time highly efficient

Agraferm has built a very efficient, compact biogas plant in Taverham, Norfolk, United Kingdom. The AD plant features low power consumption and low maintenance costs.

Put into operation in Summer 2011, this plant uses the minimum amount of space for the maximum output, which is made possible by its high dry matter organic loading rate and highdegradation of the feedstock, thanks to the patented agitators in smaller tanks.

The biogas plant also uses grass from a nearby airport and provides electricity for over 2,500 households.
