Highly efficient and powerful

Near the English university town of Norwich in the east of England Agraferm built an biogas plant, which is compact but at the same time highly efficient and powerful.

This plant, which was commissioned in spring 2012, is characterised by its optimum output relative to the space the AD plant takes up. This is made possible by the high dry matter organicloading rate of the AD plant and at the same time high degradation of the feedstock used.

The plant supplies around 3,000 households in the town as well as supplying a local abattoir with heat and electricity.
